UHHC JUNIOR CLUB

We currently have 7 Junior teams in the 2023 Season: 

• 2 x Year 7/8 Boys

• 1 x Year 7/8 Girls

• 2 x Year 5/6 Mixed

• 2 x year 3/4 Mixed

Uniform:

Our Club colours are maroon and gold. The Club provides players with shirts and jackets. These are managed by the team Managers.

Players need to buy (borrow or inherit), maroon shorts and maroon socks with gold bands at the top.

Player Protection:
Mouthguard's and shinpads are compulsory and must be worn at all practices and games.
This is for the players protection, as well as an UHHC guideline, Wellington Hockey Association Rule and an ACC requirement.
Your child will be unable to play if they have no mouthguard.
 

Junior Training Times
 

Training Venue: Maidstone Park.

Training Expectations:

Arrive at least 10 minutes early to warm up ready to start on time.

UHHC expect our players to be ready to start training at the scheduled time, this includes a self warm up complete and gear ready.

 
Year 3/4's - Mini Sticks

• Wednesday 4pm-5pm

Year 5/6's - Kiwi Sticks

• Wednesday 5pm-6pm 

Year 7/8's - Kwik Sticks

• Wednesday 5pm-6pm

Fees
 

The annual Subs for 2024 is $150
The fees cover the costs of:
•  Turf use for practise
•  Affiliation fees to Wellington Hockey
•   Game fees
•   Uniforms and playing equipment (balls, goalie gear, training gear, first aid sets, ice etc)

Junior subs must be paid prior to the child taking the field.
Full payment or a deposit is required at registration. You can arrange regular payments too.
Fundraising opt out fee: $35 (if you do not wish to be involved in any fundraising for the season)
